Ms. Loar is a Staff Designer for Spectrum Design Services.  She has significant experience in hospitality, corporate and high-end residential design.  Having worked in the hospitality industry for several years, Ms. Loar is well versed in many of the hotel brand standards.  Additionally, Ms. Loar is knowledgeable about the IACC (International Association of Conference Centers) standards for conference center design. 

Ms. Loar is an adept communicator and works closely with the client and other team members to complete projects that meets the client’s requirements and budget requests.  Ms. Loar participates in all aspects of the design process from preliminary design to installation management.  She is proficient in AutoCAD and other design and administrative programs.

At Spectrum, the design library is a rich resource to the team.  Ms. Loar is responsible for assuring the library contains the latest design products and sources for the team.  In 2006, Ms. Loar was selected by Milliken Carpet for the New Design Professional Program at the Hospitality Design Expo.  For this honor, she attended exclusive design seminars gathering valuable information and resources on upcoming product releases. 

In addition to her design duties, Ms. Loar is the supervisor of the intern program at Spectrum and manages the intern’s daily tasks and schedule.  Ms. Loar graduated from Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design; a FIDER accredited program.
