Description: Spectrum Design Services was hired by the client to implement the Houlihan’s Restaurant chain’s new design package and to create the interior design documents and drawings necessary to bring the project to fruition. The budget did not permit a complete renovation, so the continuity of the design with the rest of the hotel was critical. The vibrant color palette used in an energized way on the walls, provides a backdrop which unifies the restaurant with the adjacent tasteful lobby décor, which was also designed by Spectrum. While the furniture and finishes were part of the Houlihan’s design package, the placement of all finishes and furnishings, as well as the buffet and hostess stand millwork, were custom designed to fit the existing space by our team. Because this restaurant is located within a branded hotel, the design team also had to ensure compliance with the Marriott brand standards, one of which was to create a private dining area within the space. Spectrum worked with the Houlihan’s team to create custom mural walls which wrap the perimeter of the restaurant and bring the whole design to life. Custom, colorful lighting, durable carpet tiles and vivid artifacts make this new Houlihan’s concept a special feature for this full-service Marriott.
