Description: Spectrum Design Services has completed the multi-million dollar renovation of the Cleveland Airport marriott, which touched all areas of the hotel including guestrooms, meeting space and public spaces.

The new lobby transformation is a piece of artwork in itself. Its grand, open space and trendy "zones" are especially designed with the social and business traveler in mind. The existing restaurant and lounge opens to the lobby space, which was designed based on the Marriott’s new Lobby concept, the “Lobby Re-Invented." The new lobby concept supports the 24/7 work patterns of business travelers today, who smoothly transition between work, relaxation, socializing and play throughout the day.

The “Lobby Re-Invented” concept removes the traditional architectural barriers and creates spaces called zones. These adaptable spaces enable guests to more readily meet and work in small groups, take a private time-out or casually dine in more open spaces with easy access to the latest technologies.

The new guestrooms contain four zones for guests: the bedroom, a work area with a pivot desk, a living area and the bathroom. They have a foyer-like entrance, use halogen lighting and feature wood and granite design elements. Each room features a flat-panel, high-definition LCD television.

A new artwork package is a significant part of the hotel’s redesign. Local Cleveland scenery and original photography by local Cleveland artists are displayed throughout the hotel.

The total guestroom renovation features the Marriott brand guestroom package with all new finishes, casegoods, seating, lighting, technology package, and regional artwork.
