Description: Designed in 1958 as the Executive House, the renaissance of Hotel 71 is a celebration of contemporary elegance and quiet simplicity – eye catching down to the last detail. Transformed from a 2 star to a 4 star hotel, the landmark at 71 East Wacker Drive in Chicago is hospitality delivered in a dynamic, eloquent and intelligent way. From its clean and sleek stainless steel façade to its stylized interior palette of black, gold and indigo, Hotel 71 is very much “in the now”. A sophisticated venue where business travelers and residents can work, meet, socialize and dine, Hotel 71 pays homage to modernism with custom furnishings and pleated sculptures that fuse art and architecture. The feeling is cool and contemporary, reflective of the water and urban life. Each of the 454 guestrooms exploit the consumer demand for highly functional amenities and a new standard of technology without sacrificing luxury and comfort. A practical approach for the evolving needs of a modern audience. Indeed, a jewel in the heart of “A city that works”! Project included 454 Guestrooms, Meeting Rooms, Restaurants, Lobby and Corridors.
