Description: Spectrum Design was chosen by Marshall Management to complete the interior lobby renovation of their Hampton Inn property located in Pittsburgh, PA. Adhering to the new Perfect Mix lobby design standards set forth by the Hampton Brand, Spectrum composed a warm and welcoming environment for the very popular hotel.

This hotel marks the second Perfect Mix lobby renovation that Spectrum has completed within the past year. The objective of the Perfect Mix lobby is to enhance the guest experience by understanding the way in which guests could potentially use the space and design it to suite their needs. The new lobby design invites guests in and encourages them to utilize the space throughout the day with the lobby serving as an extension of the guest room.

The overall lobby design is contemporary with a touch of traditional. Warm and inviting colors such as rich burgundy, vibrant gold and shades of green are anchored by the warm neutral tones used on the floors and walls throughout the space. Modern accessories and black and white photography compete the design and make guests feel like they are in the comfort of their own home.

Several key components of the Perfect Mix Lobby bring the space to life. The communal table generates activity throughout the day and allows guests an informal area to read the newspaper, hold small meetings or catch a quick breakfast. The coffee bar is conveniently located near the entry for guests to grab a hot cup of coffee on their way out for the day’s adventure. Practical lounge type seating is accessible throughout the day and provides a comfortable place to relax outside of their guestrooms.
