As a result, each project proceeds quickly and smoothly, from the initial conception to completion. Our approach is direct. We play close attention to the research and development of the client's goals and requirements in order to create preliminary space plans. These plans are presented to the client to ensure the plans and design concepts meet their goals, are safe, and code compliant. Once approved, our designers proceed with selection of colors, materials and finishes to appropriately convey the design concept. Selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment and millwork occurs simultaneously.
Upon completion of the design phase our team moves quickly into Construction Documents. These documents include plans, elevations, details and specifications, reflected ceiling plans and specialty lighting designs, power and communications locations, materials and finishes, and furniture layouts. Preparation of construction documents locating and quantifying all interior design elements. Additional services include administration of contract documents bidding and negotiations, as well as construction/procurement administration.
As project managers, Spectrum coordinates and collaborates with all members of the project team including architects, engineers, and other specialty consultants. Spectrum Design Services provides observation and administration duties for projects while under construction and conducts post-occupancy reviews.
